A leading company seeks a Sr. Quality Engineer to manage quality systems, respond to customer complaints, and conduct audits. The role involves collaboration with engineering and suppliers to improve product quality and ensure compliance with specifications. Candidates should have significant experience and a relevant engineering degree.
Job Description
Summary:
The Sr. Quality Engineer will support the daily operation of the Quality System of the organization. Will respond to internal and external customer complaints and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. Interprets and executes policies and procedures and provides modifications to operating processes. The Sr. Quality Engineer will review engineering’s deliverables and will participate in the design reviews. Will perform internal audits and redact/update quality assurance plans. The Sr. Quality Engineer will also lead supplier activities related to subcontractor and vendor approval, audits and quality. Establishes new test and inspection strategies. The Sr. Quality Engineer is also responsible to review and audit qualification/verification tests either internally or to coordinate activities with outside laboratories. The Sr. Quality Engineer is responsible to establish and maintain relationship with outside failure analysis laboratories. Liaison with the certification authorities is also part of the Sr. Quality Engineer’s mandate as required by certain programs.
