Test Automation Engineer

Location:
Ontario, Canada (Home-based, Hybrid, or Office-based)

Position Summary:

Are you ready to start a new journey with a team of energized professionals advancing and connecting the world’s infrastructure? Bentley is looking for you!

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer who will participate in the end-to-end software development process, from concept to feature implementation. Your key role will be to ensure features meet user needs and expectations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Liaising with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
2. Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
3. Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts.
4. Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs.
5. Investigating causes of non-conforming software and training users on solutions.
6. Staying up to date with new testing tools and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Over one year of proven experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Azure DevOps is preferred.
• Experience in writing clear, concise test plans and cases.
• Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
