Job Description: Strickland Family started all of this in 1974. Your deep knowledge of every facet of the car business is what we need to continue. You must be a Used Car guru, as we sell so many cars that Toyota Canada can't supply us with enough new product. Meet and surpass all of our customers' expectations through stellar service. Lead all of the Strickland team from detail to technician to sales to service manager and sales manager. Your ability to do all of these jobs yourself will guarantee you the winning position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive success by managing all aspects of the dealership's operations, from sales and financial services to daily activities.
  2. Build your dream team by recruiting, hiring, and mentoring top-tier sales talent.
  3. Close the deal by structuring winning vehicle transactions and mastering vehicle appraisals and valuations.
  4. Champion excellence by ensuring the dealership's reputation, efficiency, and profitability stay in the fast lane.
  5. Collaborate and conquer by working closely with customers, employees, and vendors to build strong relationships and deliver an unforgettable guest experience.
  6. Innovate to elevate by implementing bold strategies to stay ahead of the competition and achieve our goals.

Qualifications:

  • Industry leader with 10+ years of management experience in retail automotive, leading teams of 50+ employees.
  • Sales guru with deep knowledge of new and used vehicle sales, finance products, and transaction structuring.
  • F&I professional experience in automotive retail sales and financial services is highly preferred.
  • Motivated go-getter: a high-energy self-starter passionate about success in the automotive industry.
  • Master communicator with exceptional leadership skills that inspire results.

Experience:

  • Management: 10 years (preferred)
  • Sales: 5 years (preferred)
  • Automotive dealership: 10 years (preferred)

Education:

  • Secondary school diploma (preferred)
  • Business degree (preferred)

License:

  • Valid driver's license (preferred)
