Job Description Overview :

• Assist with patient care and treatment
• Monitor hospitalized pets and assist in post-surgery care
• Maintain inventory and stock supplies
• Restrain animals during procedures like blood draws and nail trims
• Perform routine diagnostic tests (radiographs, bloodwork, fecal analysis)
• Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Clean and disinfect cages, kennels, and treatment areas
• Administer medications under veterinarian or vet tech supervision
• Feed and bathe animals
• Assist clients with their pets

Qualifications :

• Must be 18 years or older
• Self-starter, able to multitask, and a team player
• Genuine love for working with animals, able to handle stressed, ill, or in-pain animals
• Prefer 2+ years of experience
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and restrain animals (assisted by staff for animals over 50 lbs)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs independently
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work in various positions
• Experience working collaboratively with a hospital team
