Client : Ministry of Solicitor General

Period : 12 months

Start Date : 2025-04-01

End Date : 2026-03-31

Working Hrs. : 7.25 Hrs. / day

Hybrid - Candidate must be able to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Note : This position is currently listed as "Onsite"; however, the assignment will provisionally be "Hybrid", working 7.25 hours per day, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (excluding lunch), Monday to Friday, subject to change based on operational needs. During the assignment, you will work under the discretion of the Hiring Manager's requirements.

Note : OPP-2 Security Clearances may take approximately 10 weeks to process.

Must Have :

• Experience in implementing large-scale public safety radio infrastructure projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate project information clearly and diplomatically.
• Experience in building reports to support decision-making on project scope, schedule, and cost.

• Experience with telecommunications technologies in public safety and emergency services.
• Knowledge of telecommunication system design, including circuit and IP-based systems, digital trunked systems, etc.
• Experience reviewing network designs to meet service level metrics like availability, reliability, and coverage.
• Knowledge of network security, encryption, and key management.
• Experience with end-user equipment and network management for monitoring and reporting.
• Understanding of standards, digital communications, WAN/LAN, wireless, and broadband/LTE technologies.

Public Safety Radio Experience

15 points

• Knowledge of industry standards like DMR, APCO25, TETRA.
• Understanding of critical network requirements for public safety.
• Experience in operational public safety environments with governance models.
• Experience working with public safety telecommunications systems and stakeholders.
• Ability to provide strategic technical advice on system design and security.
