Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Business Analyst to join our Strategy & Analytics team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical and problem-solving skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll support the business with recurring and ad hoc reporting, data integrity initiatives, and analytical projects that drive actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute regular performance and operational reports across business units (sales, margin, inventory, etc.)
  • Maintain and improve data quality and consistency across systems (ERP, CRM, BI)
  • Support data validation processes to ensure integrity and accuracy
  • Respond to requests and data inquiries from internal stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports in Power BI
  • Participate in analytical projects to uncover trends, support strategic initiatives, and inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, finance, marketing etc.) to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve reporting efficiency

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in an analytical or reporting role preferred (internships/co-op considered)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups; Power Automate, Power Apps a plus)
  • Experience using Power BI for report creation and data visualization
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-starter with a bias for action and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
