Job Responsibilities:

The Analyst, Finance & Controlling plays a key role in supporting the Magna IT team in managing the business and improving the overall financial performance.

Your Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the Financial Controlling processes of assigned IT functional and regional areas. This includes monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, business planning, project accounting and capital expenditure tracking.
2. Monthly financial result reviews with IT global service managers.
3. Creation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
4. Creation of forecasts and budgets in close cooperation with the IT managers.
5. Preparation of ad-hoc analyzes and presentations for management and functional departments.
6. Participate in analyzing financial impact of various new initiatives and/or renewals of current supplier contracts.
7. Participate in service pricing calculations as required.
8. Other projects as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
• CPA designation preferred
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience

Your Preferred Qualifications:

• Attentive to detail, with strong time management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Pronounced affinity for numbers and analytical way of thinking.
• Knowledge of international accounting (IFRS/US-GAAP) is an advantage.
• Proficient with MS Office suite of software with advanced excel skills; SAP (FI / CO) knowledge would be an asset.
• Experience working in a global team would be beneficial.
