St. Clement's School is seeking creative and committed teachers to join Broadview Public School in Ottawa. Ideal candidates will create an inclusive learning environment, support student well-being, and possess the required OCT qualifications. We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join Broadview Public School.
Broadview, one of the larger OCDSB schools, serves approximately 950 students from grades K-8, offering both English and French Immersion programs. The school also features a junior and intermediate LD SIP program and an intermediate BIP program. Despite its size, Broadview maintains a strong community focus.
Ideal candidates will support the OCDSB’s Strategic Plan by creating a positive, inclusive school climate and learning environment. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate collaborative and respectful teamwork, and have a human rights and equity perspective to foster student success and well-being.
All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings if qualified. External applicants with the required qualifications may also apply. Our consideration order for Elementary LTOs is: 1) current elementary occasional teachers, followed by 2) qualified external applicants.

Additional assets include experience as an LST.
Broadview is a modern school located in the vibrant Westboro community of Ottawa.
Applications will be assessed based on the outlined requirements and qualifications. A minimum of three qualified applicants will be invited for interviews, prioritizing current OCDSB occasional teachers who meet the criteria. If fewer than three qualify, all will be interviewed. Teachers must accept assignments they are qualified for and willing to undertake.
