Job description

Role Overview : The ForgeRock Developer is responsible for supporting and enhancing the IAM program. Must have experience with ForgeRock development and maintenance, including capabilities / functions within the platform and IAM services.

• OpenIDM
• OpenAM
• OpenDJ
• OpenIG
• Inline or Event hooks
• IAM Standards such as SAML2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth2.0, FIDO2
• CI / CD Tools like Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub, SonarQube
• Participate in user acceptance testing and bug resolution

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop IAM solutions using ForgeRock products : OpenAM, OpenDJ, OpenIDM
• Hands-on experience with ForgeRock OpenAM, including installation, configuration, and customization for user authentication
• Develop and maintain user onboarding workflows, identity mapping, merging, and provisioning
• Deep understanding of SSO, Access Management, Identity Federation, MFA, RBA
• Experience with Header-based SSO, SAML, OAuth, etc.
• ForgeRock UI customization, scripting, and code development for assertion fetching
• Experience with ForgeRock OpenIDM for provisioning and deprovisioning
• Develop and maintain RestAPI for IAM functions
• Manage access provisioning and related services
• Support integration with Active Directory and other identity stores
• Knowledge of directory servers, LDAP, and related protocols
• Proficiency with Unix / Linux / Windows commands and scripting
• Understanding of TCP / IP, RestAPI, and troubleshooting skills with scripting languages
• Experience with DevOps tools : Jenkins, Bitbucket, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes
• Configure ForgeRock Identity Gateway routes, filters, handlers
• Good Java / J2EE development and troubleshooting skills
• Support IAM activities with ForgeRock tools and monitor applications using tools like Dynatrace
