The Sourcing Generalist in the SG Americas Sourcing Department supports the global Sourcing Department in Paris by helping to reduce and control SG’s costs and legal risks within the Americas. The role involves sourcing mid to low-level business requirements across categories such as HR, Real Estate, IT HW/SW, Services, and Consulting.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sourcing professional with broad industry knowledge, excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills, and a strong sourcing acumen. They should be capable of applying sourcing strategies across various spend categories, collecting business requirements, testing markets, negotiating and drafting agreements, and possessing strong communication skills.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support sourcing category leads by applying the sourcing process to projects and agreements, negotiate and draft contracts (Master Agreements, SOWs, NDAs, etc.), and develop cost-saving initiatives through supplier rationalization and service optimization. Develop and manage RFX processes, analyze proposals, participate in negotiations impacting profit margins, and coordinate administrative duties related to contracts. Build relationships with business owners and internal clients, gather market data, and seek new supply sources.
