Our firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional legal representation to our corporate clientele. If you have a strong background in commercial litigation and a track record of delivering results, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities :

1. Represent business clients in litigation matters, including commercial disputes, contract disputes, employment litigation, lease disputes, and regulatory issues.
2. Provide strategic legal advice on litigation risk management, dispute resolution, and potential outcomes.
3. Conduct legal research, analyze cases, and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and court filings.
4. Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to develop effective litigation strategies tailored to each client.
5. Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motions, settlement negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
6. Mentor junior associates and legal staff, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications :

1. LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
3. At least 8 years of experience in litigation law, focusing on representing business clients.
4. Proven expertise in handling complex commercial litigation from start to finish.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
7. Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
8. Experience mentoring junior lawyers and legal staff.
9. Business acumen and a client-focused approach.
10. Fluency in English; additional French language skills are a plus.
