The Housekeeper is a critical role within our communities, impacting residents' lives and fostering human connection.

As a Housekeeper, your typical day will include:

1. Receiving assignments, assembling required materials and supplies, loading the service cart, and transporting to the work area.
2. Performing resident room cleaning as per the assigned schedule.
3. Cleaning and disinfecting duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and rearranging furniture.
4. Ensuring residents' privacy during duties.
5. Preparing rooms for new occupants following prescribed procedures to ensure they are tour-ready at all times.
6. Notifying the supervisor when supplies are low or equipment malfunctions.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Must Haves

1. Previous housekeeping experience.
2. Ability to read, write English, and follow written instructions.
3. Good understanding of chemical and equipment use.
4. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
5. WHMIS training.
6. Strong customer service skills and effective communication with residents and team members.
7. Successful completion of the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario applicants).
8. Successful completion of the prescribed Criminal Records Check (British Columbia applicants).
