Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer

Are you a Machinery Diagnostic Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to help shape and implement our Bently Nevada Diagnostics Services?

Join our Bently Nevada Engineering team. Bently Nevada, a Baker Hughes business, offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of machine condition monitoring and protection solutions that help customers achieve the highest level of asset reliability.

As a Machinery Diagnostics Engineer, you will provide customer service solutions addressing critical rotating machinery assets, protection, and monitoring systems, including vibration analysis.

Responsibilities include:
  • Diagnosing machinery problems based on vibration data, operational data, and customer communications
  • Building relationships with customers to provide high-quality service and become their trusted advisor
  • Traveling to customer sites to support services
  • Writing technical reports with conclusions and recommendations
  • Defining KPIs to analyze performance and propose improvements
  • Applying HS&E standards to ensure safety and compliance
  • Overseeing preparation of invoices, technical documents, and records
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a 2-year technical degree with 4+ years of industry experience
  • Knowledge or experience in Power Generation, Chemical Plants, or similar industries
  • Mechanical experience with rotating equipment
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 80%
  • Valid passport and driver’s license
