We are looking for Occupational Therapists who can bring their integrated approach to therapy services in our clients' homes. Our Occupational Therapists enjoy a fun, upbeat, and dynamic environment that keeps them independent and adaptable. They will work with a variety of client conditions, primarily adults, with occasional pediatric referrals. If you seek an environment where you can utilize a broad range of therapy skills to improve client well-being and foster your passion for Home Care, this role is ideal.

Assignments will be in geographic areas around Muskoka, Ontario, including Huntsville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Port Severn, Port Sydney, Port Carling, MacTier, Georgian Bay, and Honey Harbour.

What you will be doing :

  • Transform clients' lives in the comfort of their homes by assessing and developing accurate therapy care plans based on their real environment. This includes developing health promotion programs, prescribing equipment and supplies, and promoting client safety.
  • Apply creativity and adaptability with critical thinking to provide complex preventative or corrective actions, solving problems that interfere with clients' ability to perform important activities.
  • Collaborate with an inter-disciplinary healthcare team, including clients' family members and caregivers, to build holistic treatment goals and service plans.
  • Utilize a hybrid care model combining face-to-face and virtual sessions, enabling you to build a flexible schedule that works for you and your clients. We value independent and adaptable OTs while providing dedicated support and training.

Skills needed for success :

  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current active registration and good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.

What you can expect :

As part of Closing the Gap Healthcare, built to be a Team Made for Caring™, you can expect:

  • Competitive total compensation package
  • RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan)
