The Ideal Candidate :

A seasoned, organized, professional with leadership skills that's either currently a Construction Site Superintendent or a foreman looking for the next challenge and an opportunity to showcase your skills. Gold Seal, COR experience, and / or trade designation are all considered assets. Others would describe you as detail oriented, dependable, a team player and the type of leader that others want to follow. You enjoy working in team setting and balancing priorities. You look forward to the opportunity to assume responsibility with the project team for all aspects of the construction job site including scheduling, site safety, planning, risk assessment, quality control, supplier and sub-trade coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with the Project Manager and project team to oversee construction on site from mobilization to completion.
• Manage project construction schedule, always striving to increase schedule efficiencies.
• Oversee daily construction activities.
• Make sure the work is being performed in a safe manner and follows our safety program.
• Open and secure job site at the beginning and end of each day.
• Complete daily journal entries and project records utilizing our construction software.
• Chair weekly site foreman meetings to coordinate the work.
• Walk site daily and perform quality control duties on the work being performed.
• Be very familiar with project drawings and various sub-trades scope of work.
• Maintain whiteboard with 2-4 week look ahead.
• Maintain and complete punch lists.
• Continually help improve company systems.
• Able to move into a carpentry foreman's position when required.
