Toyota Canada Inc (TCI) currently offers an exciting 12-month contract opportunity for a client-focused data specialist to join our team as a Business Process Analyst. Reporting to the Manager, Business Analytics and Optimization, the Business Process Analyst will be responsible for guiding TCI associates through the re-engineering of existing system processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability for internal stakeholders.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Identify pain points from business managers and associates, reviewing process inputs and outputs.
• Use data environments and processing tools to re-engineer processes for better efficiency and scalability.
• Integrate tools such as SQL Server, Easy Morph, and Power BI, understanding their capabilities and limitations.
• Create and maintain data visualizations and graphics based on processed data.
• Develop automated workflows for data processing tasks.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners like Toyota Financial Services on marketing projects.
• Gather business requirements, including process input cataloging and output documentation via data process maps.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You’ll Bring:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to facilitate learning across varying styles.
• 1-3 years of experience in data modeling, business analysis, process mapping, data analytics, and visualization with Power BI.
• 1-3 years of experience with Workflow Automation and ETL processes.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Knowledge of Python is an asset.
