Home Instead is seeking caring and compassionate Caregivers—referred to as Care Professionals—to join our team and support our mission of expanding the world’s capacity to care. We provide a variety of non-medical services that enable aging adults to remain in their homes and face aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Our services are available in Ponoka and surrounding areas. We value our Care Pros as much as our clients. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours.

Qualifications

• No previous experience necessary; skills training provided by Home Instead
• Ability to speak and write English
• Provide a clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

Primary Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal care
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s care
• Treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
