Home Instead is seeking caring and compassionate Caregivers for clients in Wetaskiwin and surrounding areas. We refer to our Caregivers as Care Professionals. Join our team and help us expand the world’s capacity to care. We provide a variety of non-medical services that enable aging adults to remain in their homes and face the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

We serve Calmar and nearby communities. We value our Care Pros as much as our clients. Various shifts are available, ranging from 3 to 12 hours.

Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal care
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Providing care and respecting the dignity of aging adults and their property
• Communicating in a friendly and compassionate manner

Qualifications

• Respectful and caring for seniors and their property
• Friendly and effective communication skills
• Criminal background and vulnerable sector checks, with 2 references
• Owns a vehicle and holds a valid driver’s license for each shift
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Consistent weekly availability
• Resides in Wetaskiwin or nearby areas
