About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Immigration Services, the Immigration Assistant provides administrative support to the Immigration Consultant, facilitating processes for international trained physicians. Responsibilities include exercising judgment, initiative, accuracy, and organizational skills; acting as the primary contact for international candidates; compiling personal and immigration information; processing requests; gathering and organizing documents; handling correspondence; entering data in MAP; and providing administrative support as needed.

About You

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Grade 12 education
  • Graduation from a one-year Business diploma or equivalent education, training, and experience
  • At least 1 year of related administrative experience, preferably in human resources
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to draft, format, and edit office correspondence
  • Excellent organization skills and accuracy in handling sensitive information
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, and HRIS (preferably SuccessFactors)
  • Customer service orientation, with active listening skills and understanding of customer needs

Hours

Long-term, full-time; 75 hours bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate: $24.26 - $30.32

Annual salary: $47,305 - $59,131
