Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Underwriter to join our team. This role supports the underwriting department by performing a variety of administrative tasks, including :

• Preparing and mailing declaration pages
• Completing data entry for new business and account setup
• Providing general assistance to the underwriting team

The successful candidate will also act as backup support for reception, which includes answering phones and welcoming visitors as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment — and is looking to grow within the insurance industry.

Skills and Experience

Education :

• University degree or college diploma
• C.I.P. designation or transferable insurance experience is an asset

Skills :

• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Adaptability to change and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and general computer applications
• Willingness and ability to learn new programs and software
