SOLAMODA Group is seeking an Outdoor Apparel Sales Manager to drive business growth in Canada and the U.S. as an independent contractor. Tasks

  • Develop and expand brand partnerships for outdoor sports apparel in Canada & the U.S.
  • Identify sales opportunities and negotiate contracts to achieve sales targets
  • Provide expert recommendations on product selection, materials, and design
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs
  • Collaborate with SOLAMODA’s global business team for technical, production, and quality support
  • Travel within North America for client visits, trade shows, and industry events

Requirements

Education & Industry Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Textile Engineering, Sports Management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of outdoor apparel materials, production, and fashion trends
  • 5-10 years in outdoor apparel, sportswear, or related industries
  • Strong B2B sales experience with a proven track record of closing deals
  • Established network of brand clients or key industry connections in North America
  • Minimum 5 years of retail experience in North America

Skills & Abilities

  • Languages : Fluent in English; French preferred to serve French-speaking clients in Quebec
  • Strong market research, data analysis, and strategic planning skills
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and digital sales tools

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Canadian work permit (authorization to work in Canada is required)
  • Willing to travel within Canada and the U.S. for client meetings and trade shows
  • Industry connections (existing network of brand clients is a strong asset)
  • Valid driver’s license for business travel
