We at TopHat HR, on behalf of one of our clients, are looking for a sharp, business-minded General Counsel to join their fast-moving group of companies across diverse industries. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with CEO and leadership teams, helping shape legal strategy and structure across multiple growing businesses.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Acting as a strategic legal advisor across a group of dynamic businesses.
• Partnering closely with founders and executives on legal frameworks that support growth and scalability.
• Overseeing governance, compliance, and risk while staying practical and solutions-oriented.
• Helping shape internal legal systems, policies, and best practices.
• Liaising with external counsel when needed — but staying hands-on with most legal matters.
• Staying ahead of legal and regulatory updates that impact our industries.

What We’re Looking For :

• 2–4 years of legal experience, preferably in-house at startups or tech-driven companies.
• Solid understanding of corporate law, compliance, and working across multiple business units.
• Someone who thinks like a founder : practical, fast, and strategic.
• Excellent communication and judgment — you know how to balance legal risk with business goals.
• Comfortable working independently and directly with CEO and senior leaders.
• Proactive, collaborative, and highly adaptable to change.
