Network Manager (Remote - Ontario) : Up to $130,000 Base

A major financial services company in Canada is seeking an experienced network manager to help facilitate the ongoing growth of its network department.

Seeking a manager who is still very technical and hands-on, but with great leadership abilities.

Remote role! Working to an Eastern Time Zone.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the network team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
• Take a hands-on role in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of enterprise network systems, including Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Manage and support Azure-based networking components and integrations.
• Ensure timely delivery of network projects, coordinating resources and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Act as the highest level of escalation for complex network issues, driving resolution and root cause analysis.
• Define and enforce network policies, standards, and security best practices across the organization.

Desired Experience :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a network management or leadership role.
• Strong hands-on technical expertise with Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint firewalls, SD-WAN, and Azure networking.
• Proven track record of successful network project delivery and stakeholder communication.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and provide mentorship in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of network design, security, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage escalations effectively.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
