Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

The Contingent Labour Office’s (CLO) mandate is to partner with the business to enable an expedited and customer-centric approach to engaging external resources, while balancing the commercial needs of the business with risk mitigation to the firm. This is achieved by:

  1. Utilizing internal contingent workforce experts who stay current on market intelligence.
  2. Acting as trusted advisors, educating, challenging the status quo, and advising on creative solutions.
  3. Delivering a customer-centric approach by minimizing administrative efforts, anticipating needs, and collaborating closely with Hiring Managers.

Location: Anywhere in Canada; this is a virtual work opportunity with 1-2 days in the office per month for meetings.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Leader of the Contract Labour Office (CLO), the Contract Manager will manage processes and resolve challenges related to external resources across Canada, processing over 1000 external resources annually. Responsibilities include:

  • Applying technical expertise to advise and support Hiring Managers in engaging external resources.
  • Handling complex cases, escalations, and requests independently.
  • Managing complex contract revisions, risk assessments, change management, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborating with legal, risk management, procurement, IT security, finance, and external vendors.
  • Addressing high-risk cases involving compliance with legislation, firm policies, and security requirements.
Candidate Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Promote the CLO’s brand through a customer-centric approach.
  • Manage cases in KPMG’s vendor management system (Flextrack).
  • Train clients on system use and request submission.
  • Conduct due diligence and advise stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for reporting and audits.
  • Manage complex cases, including negotiations and contract drafting.
  • Support change management initiatives and manage challenging relationships.
Qualifications
  • College or University degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years’ experience with contract labour or contingent workforce management.
  • Experience drafting third-party agreements and liaising with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of immigration matters related to resourcing.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ServiceNow and Flextrack is an asset.

This role requires fluency in English, both written and oral. Candidates should be prepared to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders, and to interpret applicable policies, laws, and regulations.

Compensation

The expected base salary range is $73,000 to $109,500, with potential bonuses. Salary is determined based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
