Network Solutions and Security Architect

This position is:

On-site - working all 5 days per week in the Office

The Architect, as part of the Network Solutions and Security Architecture group, develops solutions that meet business and operational needs related to connectivity and security. This involves communicating requirements to infrastructure, network connectivity, and security policy teams. The role is highly technical and project-driven, crucial for ensuring the deployment and operation of stable, secure, and optimal systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate with various business groups (Carrier Networks, Security, Mobility, etc.), create all design documentation, and develop detailed 'build tickets' for implementation teams.

We seek a strategic, analytical thinker and a thought leader who is motivated, focused, and committed to integrating comprehensive security into system design and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience as a network administrator with Cisco, Juniper, or both (preferred).
• Strong experience with network security, including firewall management with Juniper, Palo Alto Networks (preferred).
• Experience in large-scale network design and architecture.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, determine project scope, gather requirements, and identify dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce and evaluate solution options, highlighting advantages and disadvantages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and SSH applications.
• Advanced networking and security knowledge, including IP addressing, Layer 2 switching, data center Ethernet fabrics, Layer 3 routing, and security technologies.
