Job Description Summary

SAP is seeking a Bilingual Senior Contracts Manager with expertise in the public sector to support its ecosystem sales organizations, including On-Premise and Cloud businesses. The role involves drafting, negotiating, and managing complex technology license, service, and related agreements, with a strong understanding of public sector procurement processes. Excellent bilingual communication skills and business judgment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare, negotiate, and draft customer contracts.
2. Negotiate and resolve contract issues across various business lines, including licensing, services, data security, and privacy.
3. Collaborate with internal teams such as Contracts, Sales, Pricing, DPO, Shared Services, and Revenue Recognition.
4. Verify customer and pricing information to ensure compliance and proper revenue recognition.
5. Support internal business areas and manage external counsel as needed.
6. Provide internal customer support and training to sales and service teams.
7. Advise on legal implications and develop solutions to contractual issues.
8. Collaborate with legal and finance colleagues to develop programs, templates, and manuals, ensuring risk mitigation and regional/global consistency.
9. Undertake special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in Law or relevant field.
• In-depth understanding of public sector procurement.
• Proven experience in software/cloud licensing, professional services, e-contracts, and transaction management (minimum 5 years).
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, with knowledge of governmental legal and procurement processes preferred.
