Position: High School Mathematics/Science Teacher

Location: Cranberry Portage, Manitoba

Start Date: September 2, 2025

FTE: 1.00 FTE

Frontier Collegiate is a unique, well-equipped high school with dormitories located in Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. It offers a full range of Grade 9 to Grade 12 courses for approximately 300 students. Cranberry Portage is a scenic community of about 1,000 people, located 50 km south of Flin Flon. Community services include a gas station, health centre with ambulance service, recreation centre, arena, and regular air service to Flin Flon & The Pas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
• Sound knowledge of provincial High School curricula
• Previous High School teaching experience
• Experience with school-based technology
• Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life
• Experience integrating Indigenous culture and land-based teaching into curriculum
• Strong classroom management skills
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Commitment to differentiated instruction
• Willingness to reflect on and improve teaching practices
• Team player with a belief that all students can learn
• Self-motivated
