Job Description

Midland Transport is currently seeking a Director of Seafood Logistics to be based at our Moncton Refrigerated DC in Moncton, NB. The selected candidate will be responsible for achieving an annual Coastline sales plan for LTL, TL, courier, and logistics.

Responsibilities
  • Work daily to grow our volume and revenue across all four divisions: LTL, TL, courier, and brokerage
  • Complete all rate agreement increases on time, at the required level as set by the executive group
  • Coordinate with audit on adjustments, operations for on-time service, and customer calls
Qualifications
  • University degree in a related field
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong people management, mentoring, and coaching skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines with high attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of AS400 and Microsoft Excel
  • Leadership and negotiation skills
