Job Family Group :

Mandarin and/or Cantonese verbal and written skills required.

Understands customer needs and provides wealth and investment-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects. Advises customers on wealth and investment strategies and products that meet their objectives. Fulfills sales and service activities for the customer in accordance with approved procedures. Identifies and makes referrals to other business groups as needed.

1. Make outbound calls to customers and proactively seek opportunities to enhance customer experience by providing suitable investment products.
2. Stay informed about consumer needs, industry trends, best practices, and the regulatory environment related to provided products and services.
3. Provide professional sales and service for customer and prospect inquiries, issues, and requests.
4. Understand customer needs and advise them on their investment strategies.
5. Achieve sales targets focused on relevant investment products.
6. Manage transactional outcomes of customer contacts or refer to appropriate internal groups.
7. Escalate complex or unresolved customer issues to senior managers as needed.
8. Complete documentation after customer interactions to ensure requests are accurately processed.
9. Maintain current knowledge of investment markets, practices, and trends, and incorporate this knowledge into customer conversations professionally.
10. Incorporate marketing promotions and programs into customer interactions where appropriate.
11. Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
12. Identify and report suspicious activity potentially related to money laundering.
13. Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, including AML, Terrorist Financing reporting, FCAC provisions, and Privacy Act.
14. Handle complex and diverse tasks within established rules and limits, including escalations.
15. Analyze issues and determine next steps.
16. Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of market trends and product offerings.
• Knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.
• Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course / IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative.
• Understanding of Risk Management & Compliance.
• Strong collaboration, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Salary : $37,500.00 - $69,500.00
