Job description

Angel & Venture Funding Coordinator

Equity Partner
Location: Remote
Jurisdiction: Global
Minimum Commitment: 20 hours per week
Department: Finance & Funding
Reports To: CFO / Fundraising Lead

What You Put In Is What You Get Out

This is not a job. It’s a stake.
A rare entrepreneurial opportunity to create something legendary from the ground up—and we want you in the room.

Minimum commitment: 20 hours/week. If that’s not realistic for you, this isn’t the right fit. No hard feelings—we respect clarity.

We are offering an equity partner role, not a traditional salaried position. That means:

  • No upfront cash compensation
  • Equity (shares) plus potential future token-based rewards (pending legal clearance)
  • Future salary unlocked by revenue milestones
  • Remote-first, async-friendly, autonomy-heavy global team

Why Join Anime Universe?

Anime Universe is a bold, culture-defining movement fusing anime, fandom, and technology at a global scale. Our vision is ambitious, our pace is fast, and our team is founder-led. To fund this movement, we need someone who can bridge story, strategy, and investor relationships.

As our Angel & Venture Funding Coordinator, you’ll lead the charge in sourcing aligned investors, managing communications, and driving early-stage fundraising execution. Your work will help us fuel the Infinite Verse.

Role Overview

You’ll build and manage Anime Universe’s investor pipeline, working closely with the executive team to coordinate investor materials, prep pitches, and maintain momentum through pre-seed, seed, and Series A phases.

This is a high-trust, high-visibility role where clarity, responsiveness, and credibility are everything.

What You’ll Own

Investor Outreach & Pipeline Development

  • Research, source, and initiate contact with aligned angel investors and early-stage VCs
  • Qualify investor leads and track conversations through a clean CRM or tracking system
  • Build and maintain relationships through thoughtful follow-ups and personalized engagement

Fundraising Materials & Investor Communications

  • Maintain and iterate on pitch decks, executive summaries, data rooms, and FAQs
  • Draft investor updates, follow-up emails, and strategic one-pagers as needed
  • Ensure documents are on-brand, up to date, and investor-ready at all times

Fundraising Execution & Deal Management

  • Coordinate investor meetings and pitch sessions
  • Support due diligence processes and documentation flow
  • Track key metrics and communications throughout each round

Strategic Support & Internal Coordination

  • Work with the CEO and CFO on fundraising timelines and strategy
  • Sync with Legal on SAFE agreements, NDAs, and cap table updates
  • Provide internal visibility into pipeline status, round progress, and key feedback

What You Bring to the Table

Early-Stage Fundraising Fluency

  • 3+ years experience in investor relations, capital raising, VC scouting, or founder fundraising support
  • Clear understanding of SAFE notes, early-stage capital structures, and fundraising cycles
  • Experience communicating with angels, syndicates, funds, and HNWIs

Storytelling & Synthesis Skills

  • You can craft a pitch that resonates with mission-aligned investors
  • You distill complex financial and strategic narratives into clean, clear materials
  • You maintain alignment between brand, numbers, and messaging

Relational Intelligence & Organization

  • You’re responsive, polished, and confident managing professional conversations
  • You maintain detailed CRM hygiene and ensure follow-ups are never missed
  • You can juggle multiple threads without dropping the ball

Bonus Points For

  • Experience supporting a founder or C-level team in capital raising
  • Familiarity with Web3, IP-driven business models, or the anime/gaming ecosystem
  • Personal network of active early-stage investors or syndicates
  • Understanding of tokenomics and hybrid equity/token funding models
  • Experience setting up investor portals or managing a virtual data room

How We’ll Know You’re Crushing It

  • We’re consistently talking to high-quality, aligned investors
  • Our deck and investor materials are best-in-class and tightly maintained
  • Every fundraising round is run with professionalism, momentum, and clarity
  • Our CRM is clean, our pipeline is active, and our brand is resonating
  • Founders can focus on vision because they trust you to manage the capital process
