Coulson Aviation is a global aerial firefighting company operating in Canada, the USA, Australia, and Chile.

We operate a fleet of large aerial firefighting aircraft, including both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, enabling rapid aerial fire suppression, initial attack, and extended attack protocols.

As part of the Coulson Group of Companies, we are a growing organization with 65 years of experience. Due to our expansion, we are seeking to hire a Warehouse Inventory Specialist.

What We’re Looking For

This full-time role has been created to support our expanding operations in Port Alberni, B.C. We are seeking a hardworking candidate with strong attention to detail to manage logistical tasks and purchasing within the aerial firefighting industry. Expect engaging work at Coulson Aviation Ltd.

Job Duties

1. Pick and pack parts/materials requests, perform daily receiving and shipping, and restock inventory.
2. Track inbound and outbound shipments across various warehouse locations, vendors, and customers, updating systems accordingly.
3. Ensure compliance with Coulson Group procedures and standards.
4. Collaborate with departments to maintain a steady flow of information within our supply chain.
5. Follow up and update requestors/departments on shipment statuses.
6. Store parts/materials correctly (lot and bin), maintaining organization and tidiness.
7. Release inbound and outbound shipments accurately following requirements and SOPs.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain department.

Requirements

1. 2-3 years of leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
2. Forklift certification and at least 2 years of forklift operation experience.
3. Ability to operate motorized equipment safely.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
6. Proficiency with MS Office and inventory management systems.
7. Experience in a store position within a team environment (preferred).
8. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
9. Reliable personal transportation.
10. Ability to stand, walk, carry, and climb stairs as needed.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

1. Security background check may be required.
2. Knowledge of aviation is desirable.
3. Retail or warehouse experience is preferred.

Benefits

1. Hourly wage ranging from $28 to $39, depending on experience.
