The Digital Product Management Specialist plays a key role in ensuring Canada Life’s digital capabilities meet the needs of advisors, customers, and employees who support them. Reporting to the Product Owner on the Design Systems team, the Digital Project Management Specialist helps deliver reusable solutions and manages tools based on a rigorous understanding of desired outcomes and a range of options to evolve and maintain a digital library for designers and developers. This role impacts multiple experiences across lines of business and requires a combination of interpersonal collaboration, adaptability, attention to detail, assertiveness, and drive to succeed.

What You Will Do
  1. Work with the Product Owner and organization partners to develop recommendations for the design system roadmaps.
  2. Achieve operational targets guided by key performance indicators within design system operations and business management.
  3. Assist with monthly and daily operational objectives with the design systems team.
  4. Assess emerging challenges and opportunities to enable organizational agility.
  5. Lead workstreams from project intake to implementation and maintenance.
  6. Resolve recurring technical or operational problems using standard procedures.
  7. Ensure policies, practices, and procedures are explained and followed.
What You Will Bring
  1. 3-5+ years of experience delivering and improving outcomes for a design system or digital product, ideally in a large-scale or enterprise environment.
  2. Experience working with diverse stakeholders and skilled team members in agile, dynamic environments.
  3. Ability to analyze complex challenges from business, technology, and user experience perspectives.
  4. Effective communication skills, including managing uncertainty and change.
  5. Desire to continually learn about new technology, industry trends, product management, and business practices.
  6. Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Figma, or similar.

The base salary ranges from $67,000 to $117,400 annually. This includes base salary only and does not cover other variable compensation components such as bonuses or commissions. Further details about our total rewards will be discussed if you proceed in the recruitment process.
