The City of Belleville is seeking a Child and Youth Instructor to provide engaging recreational activities for participants. This temporary full-time position involves planning and supervising activities, ensuring safety, and maintaining a friendly environment. The role requires effective communication and customer service skills, along with necessary certifications. Ideal candidates will be enrolled in high school and possess First Aid and CPR certifications.

Hours: Between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM Monday to Friday and 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, approximately 2-10 hours per week

Salary: $18.56 - $21.68 per hour

As a member of the Community Services Department, this position provides participants with opportunities to acquire new knowledge and skills in recreational activities through effective teaching in a friendly, engaging, and caring environment. The anticipated start date is July 2025 until August 2025.
