As a Permanent Embedded Software Engineer, you will be a part of a dynamic and innovative team, working on cutting-edge technologies in the Engineering industry. You will be involved in the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded software for our next-generation products. This role will require you to leverage your technical expertise and creativity to solve complex problems and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test software for embedded systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
  • Implement and maintain software for our wearable devices, focusing on battery charging solutions and device drivers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and performance of the software.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance.
  • Develop software documentation to ensure efficient maintenance and code reuse.
  • Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions are innovative and competitive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C and C++.
  • Experience with embedded firmware, software integration, and software design.
  • Familiarity with Linux and device driver development.
  • Experience with wearable technology and battery charging solutions is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
