For over twenty years, Health Care Solutions (HCS) has dedicated its services to the design and construction of Medical Imaging Suites throughout Canada. This has allowed HCS to become the leader in our field.

HCS are extremely pleased to serve Hospitals and Private Clinics throughout Canada. Our design-build experience includes MRi, CT, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Cath Labs and Angio Suites.

Job Description :

The Project Superintendent's role for Health Care Solutions (HCS) is one of the most important activities in our operations. It is through the Superintendent's efforts of effectively working crews, organizing work, and scheduling subcontractor's activities to work in unity with each other, that we are able to maintain a safe, productive site.

• Primarily responsible for on-site field planning, staffing and supervising.
• Ensure successful completion of projects to meet time and cost objectives
• Maintain Owner / Architect relationship.
• Communicate our plan and sequence of activities to all subcontractors to effectively implement our goals.
• Implement quality control policies at the job site.
• Ensure that all worksites are meeting the HCS Health & Safety requirements.
• Participate in the HCS Health & Safety Program by attending monthly meetings and completing documentation as required.

Responsibilities :

• Assist Preconstruction and Project Management to develop an initial project schedule and communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce a project site logistics plan and temporary facilities plan.
• Actively participate in Owner / Architect / Contractor, coordination, lead team, subcontractor, staff, scheduling, and progress meetings.
• In coordination with the Project Manager develop general conditions budget, and through site supervision assist with the control of the budget.
• Perform and monitor all jobsite control reporting measures including but not limited to job safety analysis, daily reports, accident and incident reports, and timesheets.
• Perform accident / incident investigations as required.
• Maintain working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, contract with Owner, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents, and maintain a complete and accurate set of as-builts.
• Ensure timely project completion through project scheduling, expediting of material deliveries and the management of material and document submittals / approvals.
• Monitor Infection Control
• Understand all trade contractor's means and methods in accordance with project contract documents.
• Possess strong communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Monitor subcontractor's work for quality and completeness.
• Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk.
• Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Comply with all HCS Safety & Quality policies and procedures
