AWARE-NS is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Content / Administrative Support. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the success of AWARE-NS’s mission, vision, and strategic goals. Working closely with the AWARE-NS team, you will contribute to the development and streamlining of program content, educational course materials, branding efforts, and overall operational priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Executive Director, and responsible to the OHS Team Lead, the responsibilities of the Occupational Health and Safety Content / Administrative Support include, but are not limited to, the following:
·Research, design, and implement AWARE-NS programs in collaboration with the OHS team.
·Provide administrative support for recurring organizational priorities.
Assist with logistics for learning sessions and team meetings.
·Maintain organized digital records and streamline educational content.
Support brand awareness through content creation for social media, newsletters, and the website.
·Conduct research on OHS legislation, best practices, and workplace safety developments.
·Ensure alignment with AWARE-NS’s mission, policies, and strategic plan.
Contribute to innovation efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
·Education: OHS certificate, diploma, or degree from a recognized institution (e.g., NSCC, UNB) or equivalent education relevant to administrative duties.
·Technical Skills: Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Forms).
·Design & Digital Expertise: Familiarity with Speechify or alternative AI technologies, and competence in digital record-keeping.
·Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
·Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and work with minimal supervision.
·Mobility: Valid driver's license (office is not directly off a public transportation route; remote/hybrid work model available).
·Language Proficiency: Minimum CLB-OSA ESL listening and reading test score of 7-8 (no cost to the candidate), or equivalent.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
·Experience working in the healthcare and / or related fields
·Experience working with non-profit organizations, educators, and /or government agencies
·Experience working in a team-focused environment
NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
·Project management experience
·CRSP or CRST certification
·Experience with on-line course development
·Knowledge of administrative duties

·Salary range approximately $60,000 - $63,000
