Crushing & Screening Plant Operator - Greater Sudbury

William Day Construction is actively seeking applicants for a Crushing and Screening Plant Supervisor. The ideal candidate will manage a crushing / screening plant while maximizing material production and minimizing plant interruptions and / or breakdowns.

Duties / Requirements

  • Coordinate with Mine Sites production and demands
  • Coach, mentor and develop employees to achieve their full potential
  • Record keeping and daily production schedules for submitting reports on production and maintenance
  • Meet or exceed production targets and deadlines
  • Reports directly to Crushing Operations Manager
  • Manage Health & Safety audits, performance reviews, site inspections, and customer contract safety requirements
  • Must be qualified to work in a safety-sensitive environment
  • Knowledge of JHA’s / PHR’s is an asset
  • Ability to clearly communicate and deliver instruction
  • Possesses and understands the importance of Time Management
  • Scheduling Plant Maintenance with maintenance team and subcontractors

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience minimum required in aggregate processing
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Must possess and maintain a Valid Driver's license
  • Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Crushing and Screening Maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge mandatory
  • Availability – Shift work - Days / Nights / 7 Days / Week
  • May require out of Town Work

Position

  • Work schedules can vary depending on client requirements. Primarily all dayshift hours.
