As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario, we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Director of Wealth Management .

The Director of Wealth Management , reporting to the SVP Member Experience, is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the implementation and execution of the Wealth Management Strategy of Northern Credit Union. The Director will be an active member of the senior management team; involved in developing sales plans and budgets for Wealth Management. The role involves leading, coaching, directing, and developing Financial Advisors, whose competencies include financial planning, investment services, and life insurance needs, to ensure profitability and sales goals are achieved under the Wealth Management platform. Candidates must be proven leaders and facilitators of change, capable of working collaboratively with various teams and coaching the delivery of products and services to members and prospective members.

Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications :

• Expert knowledge of the financial services industry, trends, and best practices in the Wealth Management segment.
• Ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organization and build respectful, collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues.
• Ability to form, lead, and maintain a high-performing Wealth Management team.
• Ability to translate strategies into tactical plans and manage the sales process within a Wealth Management Platform.
• Strong analytical, creative, and conceptual skills.
• Skills in team building, coaching, delegating, conflict management, and communication.
• Investment accreditation through IFIC / CSC.

Salary Range : $99,423 - $117,800
