Overview

As a member of the Caledon site team, the Plant Operator executes daily tasks related to operating and maintaining an aggregate plant and equipment. The operator will also assist with shipping, rock truck, and bank loader duties as needed.

Safety

• Demonstrate commitment to safety policies and environmental sustainability.

Plant Operation

• Operate equipment according to OEM guidelines and industry best practices.
• Ensure product quality specifications are met.
• Complete and review operational reports and metrics.

Plant Maintenance

• Keep equipment and areas presentable and functional.
• Schedule and perform maintenance tasks regularly.

Other Duties

• Assist with other tasks to support efficient site operation.

Relationships with Others

• Reports to the Site Supervisor.
• Collaborates with quality control technicians and other operators.

Education & Work Experience

• Canadian secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Heavy mobile equipment operation/training (asset).
• Industrial plant operation/training (asset).

Knowledge & Skills
