Job description

As an Auto Parts Account Manager, you will be selling Heavy Duty / Truck Parts to Fleets, independent repair shops, independent contractors, wholesalers and retailers within the territory from Niagara region to Hamilton Ontario. This is an outside sales position that will be a combination of managing an existing account base while also hunting for net new business which offers a $65,000 base salary plus uncapped commissions, monthly car allowance with many other perks!

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS :

  • Base Salary : $65,000
  • First-year OTE : $75,000-$80,000
  • Second-year OTE : $90,000 - $100,000

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY :

  • Headquarters office -Kirkland, Washington, US
  • Regional branch office - Stoney Creek, ON
  • 3-4 days in the field as an Outside Sales role
  • Sales territory is Niagara region to Hamilton Ontario

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

  • 3+ years of Outside sales experience
  • Experienced in selling Automotive parts or Automotive / heavy trucks
  • Mechanical experience or aptitude is strongly preferred
  • Required own reliable vehicle

TECHNICAL SKILLS :

  • Basic office applications
  • Experience with CRM system

THE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION :

Heavy-duty truck parts

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION-MAKER(S) :

Purchasing Department, Mid-Management, Senior Leadership (VP / Director Level) at Fleets, independent repair shops, independent contractors, wholesalers and retailers

SALES CYCLE / PRODUCT VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE :

  • Average order size varies from account
  • The selling cycle is usually from days to 2 months

  • Account Management : 50%

Admin Duties : 25%

LEADS :

  • 50% Prospecting / Cold Calling
  • 50% following up on warm Leads

2 - 3 times a year for Trade shows and Training

SUPPORT & TRAINING :

  • Classroom / Online
  • Job Shadowing / Joint sales calls
  • Work internally for a period of time
