Role Purpose

The Corporate Tax Manager will be part of the Financial and Corporate Services Division, reporting to the Vice President Tax. Responsibilities include corporate tax compliance, tax provisions, planning, and supporting various business units. Tasks involve preparing and reviewing tax returns, managing audits, and participating in strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform corporate tax work including tax provisions, returns, research, consulting, planning, and managing audits.
  • Review tax processes and improve efficiencies.
  • Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • University degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of corporate tax experience; public accounting experience preferred.
  • CPA or Master of Taxation; completion of CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Courses Level 1 & 2.
