Role Description:

1. Provides production support for applications, analyzing business and system needs to recommend solutions.
2. Offers on-call after-hours support on a rotational basis.
3. Participates in flex shift work to manage workload and balance overtime.
4. Leads investigation and analysis of technical and functional impacts, including root cause analysis.
5. Ensures resiliency, patching, and software compliance of the production environment.
6. Leads design phases for projects, resolving technical issues.
7. Prepares technical specifications for projects, adhering to security and architecture standards.
8. Collaborates with Project Managers to determine optimal development and integration approaches.
9. Coordinates with DBAs to create and modify database structures using various database technologies.
10. Communicates effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.

Required Skills:

1. Extensive experience in software development, particularly in a lead or architect role focusing on .NET technologies.
2. Deep expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server.
3. Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
4. Strong understanding of cloud services (Azure or AWS) and cloud application development.
5. Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
6. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and enterprise architecture patterns.
7. Experience leading large-scale projects from inception to deployment.
8. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
9. Expertise in Microsoft Azure Platform and Services such as Azure Functions, Event Hub, Redis, etc.
10. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL Server.
11. Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and Atlassian tools.

Desired Skills:

1. Previous experience in the payments domain.
2. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
