Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our team as our Shipper/Receiver. This position also includes a delivery component.

Qualifications

• Possess excellent customer service skills
• High attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract with no driving complaints
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Delivery experience is an asset
• Warehouse experience is an asset
• Bilingualism would be an asset

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and sort packages
• Check shipped materials for damage and process defective products
• Receive, move, and arrange materials in shipping/receiving areas
• Fill out shipping labels
• Deliver parts
• Transport and handle dangerous goods
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Maintain daily vehicle logs
• Communicate effectively
