Seaspan ULC is seeking a Financial Accountant I to join their Controllership team. This full-time role involves supporting accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Accounting and relevant experience, and will enjoy a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
As a member of the Controllership team, the Financial Accountant I is primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close process and financial reporting for Seaspan ULC. This role will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting, and responsibilities will include month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, preparation of accruals and prepayments, financial reporting, analysis of results, and project support.
Note : This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.

The estimated salary for this position is $73,800 - $90,200. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate's skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company's sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
