Role Overview

As a Director, Mobile Mortgage & Broker Sales, you will report to the Vice President, Retail Product & Support. Your focus will be on growing Meridian’s residential mortgage and auto lending portfolios through leadership, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. You will oversee origination growth in various retail products including High Ratio Mortgages, Conventional Financing, Construction, and Home Equity Lines of Credit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing mortgage and auto lending teams.
• Drive growth through strategic market development and partnership building.
• Implement performance metrics to ensure operational excellence and profitability.
• Support member experience initiatives and process improvements.
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives, including channel strategy and marketing material updates.
• Manage compliance, risk, and reporting for funded loans and business results.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years leadership experience in Mobile Mortgage, Mortgage Broker teams, and Retail Sales.
• Extensive knowledge of real estate lending, mortgage underwriting, and retail banking.
• Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration preferred.
• Proven ability to develop strategies, business plans, and lead projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
