TheRole

As part of our exciting expansion strategy, we are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our Electrical Services and Facilities Management team. As aProject Manager,you will be leading projects nationwide of various scales simultaneously with the expectation of delivering on all KPIs consistently.

Your role will involve daily communication with all levels within the organisation and reporting to senior-level management on the projects under your control.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and preparation of upcoming projects of interest to the organisation and assistance with the estimation process.
  • Align with the Contracts Management team for the implementation of future contracts and assisting with winning of new business.
  • Supervise and support electricians, managers, and field staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
  • Ensure complete adherence to all electrical codes, regulations, and health & safety standards across all projects.
  • Manage labour allocation, equipment, and material procurement to meet project demands at all times.
  • Assist with estimating, forecasting, and managing operational budgets and report such to senior management in a concise manner.

Skills and Requirements

  • Electrical trade qualification or degree in electrical engineering.
  • 8+ years proven track record in electrical operations, project management, or a supervisory role within the electrical or construction industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, installation techniques, and safety standards.
  • Experience working with H&S regulations (ISO, Safe Electric, etc.) and implementing site safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and industry-standard construction software.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with experience liaising with clients, consultants, and site teams.
