Job description

The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations. This individual will test products and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will examine broken products and resolve issues for future designs.

Products include large scale refrigeration systems for commercial or industrial applications. This new project includes design from conception to completion with the company's product including testing of the application and managing any required changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years' of experience in design and project planning of Mechanical Building Systems
• Experience using AutoCAD or Solid Edge in a previous Design Engineering role
• Design experience with HVAC, Chilling, Cooling or Refrigeration systems is an asset
• Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design
