Job Description: Senior Surveyor at IMEG

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing management, leadership, and guidance to survey crews and technicians.
  • Serving as the technical specialist in land surveying concepts and methods.
  • Researching property information to prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Mentoring survey technicians and other surveyors.
  • Ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.

Required skills and abilities:

  • Ability to interpret engineering plans and construction documents.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and GPS surveying practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying preferred.
  • Professional Land Surveyor license.
  • Minimum of 14 years of experience with a degree or 20 years of equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $89,000 - $160,000, based on experience and skills. Benefits include health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, PTO, bonuses, and stock options.
