An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Labourer 2 to contribute to the maintenance and construction of community infrastructure. This role involves performing semi-skilled tasks, operating machinery, and leading projects to ensure the safety and functionality of public spaces. Salary: $33.26/hour (2024 Rates)
Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly; Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

This is manual work involving physical effort and agility in semi-skilled and unskilled construction and maintenance tasks. The work is distinguished from Labourer 1 by the more complex and semi-skilled tasks performed. Responsibilities include:
Qualifications include up to high school graduation and experience in construction and maintenance work, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Knowledge of methods, techniques, materials, tools, and equipment used in construction and maintenance. Ability to perform semi-skilled manual tasks with some independent judgment, understand and carry out instructions, and physical capability for outdoor heavy manual work. A valid Driver’s License for British Columbia is required.
