What We Are Looking For

We seek an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in manual testing, test automation, cloud computing, and REST-based microservice applications. As a key member of our QA team, you will lead testing efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for manual and automated testing.
2. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
3. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate software changes and enhancements.
4. Conduct performance testing to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness under various load conditions.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios and ensure adequate test coverage for REST-based microservice applications.
6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
8. Leverage telco industry experience to address specific testing challenges and requirements.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in cloud computing and microservices architecture.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on manual testing and test automation.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Extensive experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Strong understanding of REST-based microservice architectures and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior QA engineers.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or cloud computing are desirable.
